Why Choose Our Online Counselling Placement?
At Choose Therapy, we believe in the power of counselling. To make therapy more accessible, we have created a counselling placement that is primarily delivered online. Many clients and counsellors appreciate the additional flexibility and convenience that online sessions provide.
The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) allows trainee counsellors to complete up to 50% of their training hours online. However, we recommend checking with your training provider to confirm their specific requirements before applying.
Our placement offers a high level of flexibility and autonomy, helping prepare you for working in private practice. Unlike many other placements:
- You can choose when you would like to see clients
- You only offer availability at times that suit you
- Clients choose which counsellor they would like to work with via our online booking system
We work with trainees from a wide range of therapeutic modalities.
We also provide free fortnightly supervision, with a variety of supervision groups available, including evening sessions.
If you have any questions, please contact us at info@choosetherapy.co.uk
