Samuel Lewis

Samuel Lewis

Samuel is a trainee psychotherapist completing an MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy at Regent’s University London, a UKCP-accredited programme. He also holds an MSc in Psychology from Birkbeck University of London.

Samuel works integratively, drawing on psychodynamic, humanistic and relational approaches. This means he tailors how he works to each individual rather than applying a fixed method. He believes the quality of the relationship between therapist and client is central to what makes therapy useful, and he brings genuine curiosity and presence to every session.

He has a particular interest in working with clients experiencing trauma, addiction, anxiety and depression, and questions of identity and belonging, including LGBT+ clients.

Alongside his academic training Samuel has extensive experience in both clinical and residential mental health support, and has completed specialist training in crisis support and intervention through his work with a leading community helpline.

Samuel is a registered student member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and offers a warm, non-judgemental space where clients can explore whatever they are carrying at their own pace.
