Ravpreet offers a warm, empathic and non judgemental space where clients can explore difficult thoughts, feelings and life experiences at their own pace. She understands that reaching out for support can feel daunting, and aims to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood and accepted.
Her approach is rooted in humanistic principles and is primarily person centred, meaning that therapy is guided by the client and their unique experiences. Ravpreet believes that when people are offered a space of genuine empathy, compassion and acceptance, they can begin to better understand themselves and move towards meaningful change. She may also draw on psychodynamic ideas to gently explore patterns in thoughts, emotions and relationships, helping clients make sense of how past experiences may influence challenges in the present.
Ravpreet aims to support clients in developing greater self awareness, understanding their emotional world and finding healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. She works collaboratively with clients to help them reconnect with their sense of self, build resilience and move towards a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.
Alongside her training, Ravpreet works with young people in an educational setting where she supports students experiencing a range of emotional and personal challenges. This has given her valuable insight into the pressures individuals face in their personal lives, relationships and sense of identity.
Ravpreet is particularly passionate about making counselling more accessible and inclusive for people from diverse and underrepresented communities. She is committed to practising in an anti discriminatory and culturally sensitive way, recognising the importance of understanding each person’s unique background and lived experience.
Ravpreet is currently undertaking doctoral training in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy. She is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the British Psychological Society (BPS), and her work is guided by professional ethical frameworks and reflective practice.
