Peter Jackman

Peter is an trustworthy trainee counsellor driven to provide a calming environment for clients to grow. Offering an integrative practice, so there are a multitude of counselling skills available to him that he can use to best help any client with whatever problem they face. However, Peter places an emphasis on the use of a person-centred modality; with him as a guide to help you find out the solutions to your own problems. But Peter has the skills to employ coaching techniques when a more directive approach is required.

Peter’s prior experience as a Samaritan has led him to have knowledge and understanding of the pressures and struggles all people face and how to relate to anyone. Peter completed his university degree in psychology, building over the course of a decade a comprehension of personality psychology and the best strategies people use to overcome their personal struggles with awareness of their unique qualities. Peter uses his skills with the aim to help others enhance their self-awareness, and improve their relationships with those around them, bettering their lives in the ways they wish to.

The counselling Peter provides is one of a kind. He is a registered student trainee counsellor with the BACP, and is striving towards becoming a registered psychotherapist.
