I am a trainee counsellor studying Counselling and Coaching at the University of East London. My training is integrative, which means I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches and techniques so that the work can be tailored to you.

People come to counselling for many different reasons. You may be facing a major life event, experiencing grief, be at a transition point in your life, feeling anxious or stuck, or simply wanting a space to talk and reflect. You might also feel that something in your life isn’t quite working, even if it’s hard to put into words. Whatever you are facing, we can work together to help you feel better and move forward in a way that feels meaningful and lasting.

Before training as a counsellor, I worked in PR, government and education, and I understand the stresses and pressures that can come with a busy career. I am also interested in supporting people who are thinking about how they want to live their lives and what gives their life meaning. Alongside my training, I volunteer supporting people who are struggling with grief.

I work in a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental way. My approach is client-led, which means there is no set agenda and we can focus on whatever you choose to bring.

I work relationally, recognising that the quality of the relationship between therapist and client plays an important role in effective therapy. I bring openness and curiosity to my work and aim to create a space where you feel supported to explore what is going on for you and find a way forward.

As a trainee counsellor, I work under regular professional supervision and follow recognised ethical guidelines to ensure safe and responsible practice.
