I am a trainee counsellor currently undertaking a Level 4 Diploma in Counselling at BCOT and I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), working in accordance with their ethical framework.
My approach is integrative, drawing from relational psychodynamic and person-centred theory. I am particularly interested in how our early relationships shape the way we connect with others and with ourselves. At the heart of my work is the belief that therapy is a shared journey. We walk it together – sometimes the terrain feels steady and sunlit, at other times it may feel steeper or uncertain. My role is not to lead you, but to walk alongside you with curiosity, care and respect, gently highlighting patterns or perspectives that may not yet feel fully in view.
Before training as a counsellor, I worked in caring roles and in holistic practice, including massage and energy-based healing. These experiences deepened my understanding of the connection between mind and body, and how emotional experiences can be carried physically as well as psychologically. I am also a visual thinker and speak three languages, which has shaped my appreciation for cultural identity, belonging and difference.
I have also experienced the transformative value of therapy personally and understand the courage it can take to seek support. I welcome conversations around meaning, spirituality or existential questions where these feel important to you.
I aim to offer a warm, approachable and reflective space where you can feel safe to explore whatever you bring at your own pace.
