Helen provides a warm, empathic and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their feelings and experiences safely. As a trainee Transactional Analysis psychotherapist, she works within a framework that looks at the patterns we learn early on — in how we relate to others, how we talk to ourselves, and the roles we fall into without realising it. Her practice is grounded in a collaborative therapeutic relationship, helping clients notice these patterns as they show up, understand where they came from, and choose something different going forward.
Helen has a particular interest in relationship difficulties, those experiencing grief, anxiety and depression, and works with adults carrying the quieter kind of pain that doesn’t always have a name — just a sense of not feeling like yourself. She believes therapy should be an honest, non-judgemental space, where clients difficult feelings are met with curiosity rather than judgement. As a trained yoga teacher her psychotherapy practice is grounded in the somatic experience of the body and the mind connection.
Helen is a trainee psychotherapist completing an MSc in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy and is a registered member of the UKCP. She works under regular clinical supervision, in line with the UKCP’s ethical framework for good practice.
