Diba Missaghi

I am a trainee therapist currently working towards my Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy at Regent’s University London and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). With a background as an optometrist, I bring a healthcare foundation and a natural understanding of the deep connection between physical and emotional wellbeing. My Iranian and Persian heritage also shapes the sensitivity and awareness I bring to my work, particularly in relation to cultural identity and the experience of navigating belonging.

I have a particular interest in working with anxiety and stress, cultural identity and neurodiversity. I bring both personal lived experience and professional experience working with neurodiverse clients, which provides me with a grounded and compassionate understanding of this area.

My approach is integrative and humanistic, drawing on a range of therapeutic frameworks to meet you as an individual adapting to what feels most helpful for you, your unique situation and your personality. At the heart of my work is a deep belief in the therapeutic relationship. I am committed to showing up with honesty, authenticity and genuine care, creating a safe, collaborative and judgement-free space.

I believe you hold your own answers and am here to walk alongside you as you find your way forward. I offer sessions in English and Persian and would be delighted to hear from you
