I’m a trainee counselling psychologist and psychotherapist, and I offer a warm, collaborative space where you can feel seen, heard, and understood, especially if you’ve spent a long time feeling like you have to “hold it all together” on your own.
My work is shaped by a deep interest in trauma and relational difficulties, including how early experiences, attachment patterns, and life events can impact self-esteem, boundaries, trust, and the way we connect with others. I work integratively, which means I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches and tailor the work to suit your individual needs. This may include elements of CBT, DBT, person-centred and humanistic approaches, as well as emotionally focused therapy. I am also interested in incorporating the body into our work, supporting you in better understanding and regulating your emotions in a more holistic way.
I also have a particular interest in identity, especially where this intersects with race, culture, and neurodiversity. As a Black woman from a working-class background and someone who is neurodivergent, I’m passionate about supporting individuals who may have felt misunderstood, labelled, or overlooked within systems that weren’t built with them in mind. I welcome people from all backgrounds and aim to offer a space that is thoughtful, inclusive, and culturally attuned.
I’m especially committed to supporting clients who are exploring:
• The impact of trauma (including sexual trauma) and its daily impact.
• Relationship patterns, emotional overwhelm and difficulty feeling safe with others.
• Identity questions connected to race, belonging, culture, and neurodiversity.
