Anya Bukshi

Hello, my name is Anya, and I offer a calm, respectful space where we can slow down and explore what feels important to you. My work is grounded in Gestalt theory: a holistic approach that recognises the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit. In practice, that could look like talking about how you’re feeling, noticing what’s happening in your body while we sit together, and/or gently exploring patterns in your life and relationships. Given my own life experiences and cultural lineage, I hold a particular interest in the themes of identity, belonging, and intergenerational trauma, and how these may impact someone’s emotional world, relationships, and sense of self. With that said, as a trainee psychotherapist, it is my honour to walk alongside you on your path towards greater awareness, empowerment, and authenticity, no matter what you choose to bring to therapy. I am currently pursuing an MSc in Gestalt Psychotherapy at the Metanoia Institute and am registered with the UKCP. On top of this, I have spent over a decade working alongside individuals from diverse backgrounds and two decades practicing yoga. Both of which have informed my empathetic, embodied, and relational style. Thank you for taking the time to learn about how I approach therapy. If the above resonates with you, please feel free to reach out for an initial session.
