My name is Adrian, and I am a trainee counsellor currently working towards a Professional
Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling, due to qualify in late 2026. I am an integrative
practitioner, meaning I tailor my approach to each client as an individual. I draw on a range
of therapeutic approaches and tools depending on your needs, your circumstances and what
feels most helpful to you. At the heart of my work is a person-centred approach, striving to
provide an empathic, safe and non-judgemental space where you can explore your
experiences at your own pace, wherever you are in your journey.
I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and change, and that my role is to
support you in finding your own way forward. I have been on a personal journey of
self-understanding over the last 20 years, and retrained as a counsellor to offer others the
same kind of care and support that I have received myself. Alongside my person-centred
foundation, I may introduce ideas from Psychodynamic or Gestalt approaches where they
feel helpful, but I see therapy as a collaborative process. Together, we can explore your
experiences, understand how you relate to yourself and others, and consider what you might
want to change.
Before training as a counsellor, I spent almost 20 years working in marketing, often in
high-pressure corporate environments and leadership roles. The part of my career I enjoyed
most was supporting and developing the people I managed, helping them to build
confidence, grow in their careers and realise more of their potential.
I am a registered student counsellor with the NCPS and offer counselling sessions in
English. I have experience supporting clients with anxiety, low mood, self-esteem issues,
addiction, relationship difficulties and life transitions.
