Alexa Leslie

Hello, my name is Alexa. I offer a safe, supportive, and confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. You may be experiencing anxiety, low mood, or a sense of disconnection or lack of joy in your life. Whatever you are facing, no concern is too great or too small to bring into the therapy room. Together, we can explore what may be holding you back and find ways to move forward. Our work can help deepen your understanding of yourself and your relationships, and support you in living a fuller, more congruent life. I am currently working towards my professional qualification in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy at the Minster Centre in London. I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, including psychodynamic, humanistic, existential, and body psychotherapy theories, tailoring my work to your unique experiences and needs. I believe the therapeutic relationship itself is central to meaningful change, and I offer a space grounded in careful listening, reflection, and curiosity to support exploration of what matters most to you. Alongside my clinical training, my earlier career as a City lawyer in London and overseas, and later in a commercial role within a finance business, informs my work. This experience has given me a lived understanding of the identity pressures, high levels of responsibility, and sustained demands that can accompany professional life, and how these can contribute to stress, burnout, or a sense of disconnection from oneself. I bring this awareness into the therapy room with sensitivity and care, particularly when working with clients navigating similar challenges. I am a student member of the BACP and adhere to their ethical framework. I attend weekly clinical supervision.
