Suzanne Allen

Suz is a Trainee Counsellor and registered student member of the NCPS, currently working towards her Level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice. She offers a warm, grounded and collaborative therapeutic space where clients can slow down, reflect, and explore thoughts, feelings and life experiences at their own pace, always without judgement.
Suz works in an integrative way, drawing primarily on person-centred principles alongside a trauma-informed understanding of how past experiences, relationships and life events can shape present patterns of thinking, feeling and behaviour. Her approach is flexible and tailored to the individual, using gentle exploration and psychological insight to support greater self-awareness, emotional understanding and meaningful change. She aims to help clients feel more connected to themselves and to move towards a more authentic and aligned way of living.
Alongside her counselling training, Suz brings +20 years of experience in senior HR and talent development roles within global organisations, as well as an established coaching practice as an ICF-accredited coach. This has given her a strong understanding of workplace stress, burnout, identity shifts, relationship dynamics, and the emotional impact of change and uncertainty.
Suz also holds a Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Introduction to Counselling Skills, is a qualified NLP Practitioner, and has a Certificate in Understanding Autism. She has a particular interest in anxiety, stress, self-esteem, neurodiversity and identity, and works in an inclusive, LGBTQIA+ affirmative way.
Suz works with adults (18+) and is committed to ongoing training, reflective practice, and regular clinical supervision to support safe, ethical practice.
