Usman Gul

Usman offers a culturally sensitive, affirming space with a particular focus on individuals from marginalised and underrepresented communities. He is an LGBTQ+ and gender affirmative trainee therapist, committed to creating an environment where clients can explore identity and personal challenges without fear of judgement.
He recognises that identity, discrimination, and social inequality can deeply shape emotional wellbeing, and works collaboratively with clients to explore these complexities with care and respect. Usman has a strong commitment to intersectionality and honours each client’s cultural, social, and personal context in his practice.
As an integrative trainee therapist, Usman draws on a range of therapeutic approaches to meet each client’s unique needs, adapting his practice to suit the individual rather than applying a fixed model. His work incorporates mindfulness as a tool for self-awareness and emotional regulation.
Alongside his clinical training, Usman works as a Support Worker in a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit, giving him direct experience of acute mental health presentations and a grounded understanding of the challenges clients may bring to therapy.
Currently completing an MSc in Psychotherapy, Usman is a registered student member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and works in accordance with its ethical guidelines.
Usman offers sessions in English, Urdu, and Punjabi, making therapy more accessible to clients from diverse linguistic backgrounds.
Ashee Hussain

Hello, I am Ashee, a trainee Cognitive Behavioural Therapist offering evidence-based CBT to adults online. I work in a warm, collaborative and practical way. Therapy is a space where you can feel understood and leave each session with clear takeaways you can use in real life. We will build a shared understanding of what is maintaining the problem (a CBT formulation), agree on goals that matter to you, and then work step by step towards change at a pace that feels manageable.
CBT can help with difficulties such as PTSD, anxiety (including panic, social anxiety and health anxiety), low mood and depression, stress and overwhelm, low self-esteem, trauma symptoms, and adjusting to life changes. Sessions may include learning coping strategies to calm the body, identifying and responding differently to unhelpful thoughts, behavioural activation, graded exposure to reduce avoidance, and problem-solving. I also draw on compassion-focused and mindfulness-based strategies when these are helpful.
I speak Urdu and Punjabi, so if English is a barrier to therapy, we can work together in the language you feel most comfortable using. I aim to offer culturally sensitive therapy in which your background, values, and experiences are understood, respected and incorporated into our work.
I am a BABCP-registered CBT trainee working towards full accreditation. In our initial appointment, we will discuss what has been happening to you, your desired changes, and the support that would be most helpful at this time. If you are considering therapy, I am happy to discuss how CBT might assist.
Natasha Khalid

I am a trainee counsellor currently completing my Masters training in integrative counselling. My approach combines Gestalt and psychodynamic perspectives, which means I support clients in understanding how past experiences and relationships may be shaping their present thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, while also helping them develop awareness of what is happening for them in the here and now. I work in a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental way. I believe therapy should feel like a safe space where you can talk openly at your own pace, without pressure or expectation. My aim is to offer a supportive environment where you feel heard, understood and able to explore whatever you bring. Together we can gently make sense of difficult emotions, patterns, and experiences, helping you develop greater self-understanding and confidence moving forward.
