Haydeh Robertson

Hi, I’m Haydeh, a trainee psychotherapist currently pursuing an MSc at Metanoia Institute. I am also registered as a trainee with the UKCP.
My work is grounded in the Person-Centred approach, which means I believe you are the expert on your own experiences.
I also believe that we all have the ability to grow and make positive changes in our lives.
I offer a warm, non-judgemental space where you can explore what’s going on for you, especially when things feel overwhelming and confusing.
Come as you are, and bring whatever you’d like to share. Together, we can explore life transitions, anxiety, low confidence, relationship difficulties or just a sense that something isn’t quite right.
Through my own background and lived experiences, I aim to provide culturally sensitive therapy that values your unique experiences and perspective. Alongside English, I also offer therapy in German and Persian/Farsi.
Hamideh Esmaeili

I am a Counselling Psychology doctoral trainee working towards HCPC registration, with a background as an Assistant Psychologist at We Are Human Counselling and experience in both NHS (IAPT) and community settings. My work is shaped by my Iranian cultural background and a strong interest in identity, resilience, and the impact of social context on wellbeing. I take a collaborative, client-led and integrative approach, drawing on humanistic, psychodynamic, attachment-informed, and CBT-based models to support clients in exploring emotional difficulties, relational patterns, and coping strategies. I aim to provide a safe, compassionate space that balances insight with practical tools, helping clients develop self-understanding, resilience, and meaningful change. At the heart of my work is the belief that people have the capacity for growth, healing, and change when met with understanding, compassion, and respect. I see therapy as a space where clients can feel heard, supported, and empowered to reconnect with their strengths — even during difficult periods in life.
I place strong value on the therapeutic relationship and the importance of creating an environment where clients feel safe to explore vulnerable or challenging experiences without judgement. My work is guided by empathy, integrity, and a commitment to ongoing learning, reflection, and ethical practice.
Ava Ghorbani

It takes courage to open yourself up to self-exploration and change. With the right guidance, therapy can become a grounding and eye-opening process that fosters understanding, growth, and lasting wellbeing. I am a third-year Trainee Counselling Psychologist and Integrative Psychotherapist with experience supporting adults across a range of emotional and psychological difficulties. My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing on evidence-based modalities including Humanistic Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). This allows me to tailor the therapeutic process to your unique needs and to adapt our work together as therapy unfolds. In practice, this means we will begin by creating a safe space to explore your experiences, emotions, and patterns of relating, while also developing practical strategies to help you cope and move forward. I believe that therapy works best as a collaborative process; one where we work together to make sense of your experiences and uncover the tools and insights that empower you to live more authentically. My aim is to support you in understanding your experiences and inner world. I offer a warm, reflective, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your story at your own pace, deepen your self-awareness, and build a more compassionate relationship with yourself. Together, we will work at a pace that feels comfortable for you, gently exploring the themes, challenges, and hopes that shape your life. My aim is to help you develop meaningful insight, cultivate emotional resilience, and create lasting change that supports a more grounded, connected, and fulfilling way of being everyday
