Giorgia Tamiozzo

Hi, I’m Giorgia. I am a trainee therapist working towards becoming an accredited counsellor. I am studying for an MSc in Therapeutic Counselling at the University of Greenwich, a BACP-accredited course, and I hold a BACP student membership.
My approach is integrative, meaning I draw from different therapeutic models depending on what feels most helpful for you. I am influenced by psychodynamic and person-centred approaches; this means I’m interested in how past experiences may shape your present, while also offering a safe, empathetic space to explore what’s happening for you now.
For me, the relationship between therapist and client is at the heart of the work. I believe change happens when you feel truly seen, heard, and supported, without judgment.
As an immigrant, I developed an understanding of how overwhelming life transitions can be. This shapes the way I work and helps me connect with people navigating change or feeling out of place. I offer sessions in English and Italian and welcome clients from all backgrounds and walks of life.
Barbara Feliciani

Barbara seeks to create a warm and collaborative space where clients can explore
challenges, recognise their strengths and resources, and develop a deeper understanding of
themselves and their relationships with others.
She is an Integra1ve Psychotherapy trainee at Metanoia Institute, a student member of
UKCP, and is currently working towards professional accredita1on on the UKCP pathway.
Her approach combines a relational humanistic perspective with a psychodynamic
awareness of how past experiences can shape present difficulties. She also works in
experiential and crea1ve ways where helpful, supporting clients to connect with their
thoughts, emo1ons and bodily experience in the present moment.
Barbara is familiar with the challenges that can arise around life transitions, self-esteem,
relationships, identity, trauma, and the ways people adapt to emotional difficulties. Through
several years of involvement in peer-supported recovery communities, she has developed an
understanding of addiction, eating difficulties, and other coping strategies that people may
use when struggling emotionally.
Before training as a psychotherapist, Barbara worked across both crea1ve and organisational
environments. This gave her insight into the different pressures people can experience in
their personal and professional lives, as well as an appreciation of the many different ways
people think and relate to the world around them.
Barbara offers sessions in English, Italian and Portuguese.
