Francesca Lupu

Hi, I am Francesca, and I am a trainee psychotherapist working towards becoming accredited. Starting therapy can feel both scary and exciting, as I remember feeling the same way. For me, therapy became a safe space to explore and understand myself, and I aim to offer that same space for my clients. Our journey together can shift and focus on whatever matters most to you, but above all, therapy is a place to allow yourself to feel.
I am currently in my second year of a MSc in Therapeutic Counselling, and I am a BACP registered member. My approach is integrative humanistic, combining person-centred and psychodynamic methods, among others. This allows me to explore both present experiences and past influences to understand feelings and behaviour patterns. I aim for sessions to feel authentic, real conversations between two people.
For me the relationship between client and therapist is the centre of the work, crucial for us to build trust. I understand how feeling vulnerable can become frightening, so I value the notion of being equals in this professional relationship. My experience in mental health over the past years allowed me to work with a variety of clients, addressing topics such as addiction, family dynamics, anxiety, loneliness, trauma, relational trauma and stress.
As an immigrant, I’ve come to understand how challenging major life transitions can be. This perspective deeply influences my work and allows me to connect with those experiencing change or feeling out of place. I offer sessions in English and Romanian, and I embrace the uniqueness of every person’s journey.
Sara Ingarfield

Hello, my name is Sara. I’m a counsellor who believes that therapy should be as unique as the person sitting in front of me. That’s why I take an integrative approach, combining both person-centred and psychodynamic methods to support you in the way that feels most meaningful.
In our sessions, I create a warm, non-judgmental space where you can truly be yourself. With a person-centred approach, the focus is entirely on you—your feelings, experiences, and goals. Together, we’ll explore what’s happening in your life, empowering you to find clarity and confidence at your own pace.
At the same time, the psychodynamic side of my work invites us to gently uncover how past experiences or patterns might be shaping your present. By understanding these deeper influences, we can create lasting change and help you move forward in a way that feels authentic and freeing.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply in need of a space to process, I’m here to walk alongside you. If this sounds like the kind of support you’re looking for, I’d love to connect and help you take that next step.
Kare Khoo

Do you ever feel like you know yourself well? Perhaps you can name what’s going on, even explain it, and yet certain patterns keep repeating anyway? Therapy can be a space to explore where these patterns first took root, and how they continue to shape your life now.
My name is Kare (pronounced “Care”, she/her), and it’s not lost on me how well that fits the space I hope to offer. I’m a psychodynamic counsellor in training, completing my Masters in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy at Goldsmiths, University of London, having first trained in the person-centred approach. I’m a registered student member of the BACP.
Therapy doesn’t provide shortcuts. What I can offer is curiosity and consistent support in thinking alongside you. Each step we take together is to help you find the narrative that feels true to you, rather than one you’ve inherited. How far we go, and how fast, is always your choice.
I’m especially committed to supporting those who often feel marginalised or overlooked, whether that’s rooted in race, culture, gender, identity, neurodivergence, class, or past trauma.
My approach is warm, while also making space to challenge. At the heart of how I work is a commitment to meet you with compassion, acceptance, and sincerity. I believe the quality of the relationship is key to successful therapy. If you’d like to see whether we might work well together, I’d love to hear from you. I offer sessions in English and Thai.
Megan Binding

Megan is a trainee counsellor working towards her BSc (Hons) in Person-Centred Pluralistic
Counselling and is a registered student member of the BACP. She offers a warm,
non-judgemental space where clients can explore whatever is present for them, at their own
pace.
Megan’s practice is rooted in Carl Rogers’ person-centred approach, built on the belief that
every person holds the capacity for growth and self-understanding (the actualising tendency)
when met with genuine empathy, unconditional positive regard, and congruence. Working
pluralistically, Megan also draws on a range of therapeutic ideas and tools where helpful,
tailoring the work to what each client needs rather than applying a fixed model.
Before training as a counsellor, Megan spent several years working with young people with
complex needs in a school setting, giving her a strong grounding in supporting people through
difficult transitions, communication differences, and emotional distress. This background
continues to inform her practice, particularly her attentiveness to how people express
themselves in ways that go beyond words.
Megan is particularly interested in supporting clients navigating grief and loss, life transitions,
and questions of identity and self-worth. She believes therapy works best as a collaborative
relationship, one where the client is the expert on their own life, and the counsellor’s role is to
walk alongside them with care, honesty, and patience.
Megan is currently building her client hours through supervised placement work as part of her training.
Lucy Elston

What would it mean to feel truly at home in your own life – to move through the world with a clearer sense of who you are and what you value?
Perhaps you’ve been feeling disconnected – from others, from yourself, or from a sense of direction. Perhaps something feels unresolved, but it’s hard to put into words. These are the kinds of questions therapy can help you sit with and explore.
My name is Lucy, and I’m currently completing my doctoral training in Counselling Psychology. I’m registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Universities Psychotherapy and Counselling Association (UPCA). My approach is integrative, drawing on a range of therapeutic frameworks, with an existential focus. What that means in practice is that our sessions will feel like genuine dialogue – open, active, and collaborative. I’m not here to hand you a formula; I’m here to work alongside you, helping you reconnect with the inner resources you already have.
At the centre of our work is a simple but important question: how do you make sense of the world? I’m less interested in fitting your experience into a category, and more interested in understanding your unique story – the values, the tensions, the things that feel unanswered. My hope is that through our work together, you’ll develop a stronger sense of what truly matters to you, and feel more confident in how you choose to live.
If this feels like the kind of space you’ve been looking for, I’d love to hear from you.

I truly understand the pressures of juggling different aspects of one’s identity or ‘wearing different hats’.I am committed to working with people from all walks of life, collaboratively, in a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, whether they’re related to anxiety, depression, relationships, identity, or any other aspect of life.I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to grow and heal, and I’m here to support you on that journey. Fabiha Tasnim

I am a trainee counsellor with Choose Therapy and am currently working towards my counselling diploma. I aim to provide a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. I believe that each person is the expert of their own life, and I am here to support you on your journey of self-exploration and growth.
A fun fact about me is: “I am everything, but I fit into nothing.” As a first-generation immigrant, leaving part of my identity behind and building a new one as a child came with its own challenges. This experience has given me a deeper understanding of identity, belonging, and navigating different cultures, which informs the empathy and understanding I bring to my work.
I am passionate about creating a space where people feel heard, valued, and accepted. I understand that reaching out for support can feel difficult, and I strive to build a therapeutic relationship based on trust, respect, and authenticity.
I am a student member of the BACP and adhere to its Ethical Framework, ensuring that the support I provide is guided by evidence-based theories and ethical practice rather than personal opinions and beliefs.
I am fluent in English and Bangla (Sylheti) and can offer sessions in either language, or a combination of both. Coming from a Muslim and Bangladeshi/South Asian background, I am culturally and faith-aware, and I welcome people from all backgrounds, identities, cultures, and experiences.
Gulem Ezer

Hello, my name is Gülem [she/her]. My aim is to offer a warm, non-judgemental space for us to explore your experiences, emotions and what’s important to you. I believe in creating a space where you can feel heard, understood, accepted and met with curiosity. I recognise that feeling safe is an important part of being able to open up, and that building a trusting therapeutic relationship takes time. I hope to work alongside you at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
I am currently undertaking a CPCAB accredited Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and am a student member of the BACP. My training is grounded in an integrative approach, drawing on person-centred and psychodynamic theories to support a way of working that feels right for you. This means I aim to work collaboratively, focusing on what’s going on for you in the present while exploring how past experiences may continue to shape your life today. I also hold a postgraduate degree in Gender Studies, which has deepened my understanding of how identity, relationships, and wider social contexts can shape our experiences.
As a second-generation immigrant, I bring lived experience of navigating different cultural perspectives, which informs my sensitivity to the ways identity is shaped by our families, communities, and the wider world. I am committed to anti-oppressive values within counselling, holding a strong belief that individuals are the experts in their own lives.
If you’d like to explore whether we’d be a good fit, please feel free to get in touch.
Waheeda Rahman

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you’re not sure where to begin or what to expect. I aim to offer a calm and supportive space where you can talk openly about what is going on for you and explore things at a pace that feels comfortable.
I work in a collaborative way and see therapy as something we think about together. I am interested in how life pressures, responsibilities, relationships and expectations can affect how we feel about ourselves, and I support clients in making sense of these experiences in a way that feels manageable and meaningful. I try to stay alongside clients as they explore what feels most important to them, rather than assuming there is a single right direction to take.
I am currently completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling. Integrative counselling means I draw on different therapeutic ideas depending on what feels most helpful for each person. I work in line with the BACP Ethical Framework and attend regular supervision to support safe and reflective practice.
